Welcome to this week’s edition of Tap Into the Universe.

Pat submitted the following question …
“The last three keynote presentations I did, was literally told I was the best speaker they’ve ever seen. In fact one apologized for not paying me more money. Which was cool. However there seems to be a block in really up leveling this piece of my business and income. Why?”
When I read the question, I can feel the frustration.
Pat is really asking two questions: If you’re taking action then shouldn’t you be getting results? What do you do when you don’t get the results you want?
Before I connect with her Spirit Guides, I just want to say that I don’t believe in coincidences.
If you’re reading this and you’re wondering the same questions, no matter the circumstances, the guidance that is given by Pat’s Spirit Guides is also for you.
Now when I check in with your Spirit Guides…
They are showing me a vision of you as a little girl watching you on stage as the woman you’ve become.
You’re so proud. You’re so excited.
As soon as you walk off stage, you turn your focus to an electronic board showing the number of sales that have come in. It’s a little bit like an infomercial.
When people come to talk to you, you acknowledge them, and you chat, but you’re not 100% with them because your real focus is watching the results come in.
When I asked them why they walked away, money in hand, they say, “I’m not sure how she can help me.”
This happens over and over again.
What does this mean for you?
Seeing the little girl being so excited tells me that the stage is the right place for you and you should totally keep doing it. It implies total and complete alignment. Everything should feel this good in your business.
The problem isn’t the talk, the problem is the constant focus on the results.
Giving your attention to the numbers (results) that are not coming in stops the Law of Attraction from bringing them to you because you’re focus is on what’s not coming.
If you want results, you can’t focus on them.
Also…
By focusing on the results, you stop coming in from a place of service.
Whether or not they are consciously aware, your peeps know that your focus is not really on them. They want to be seen & heard. It’s also how you’ll discover what they are truly wanting.
I’m shown that they are seen and heard, they will offer gifts to you that were unexpected.
Bring in the same energy from the stage…
You should be having as much fun talking to them as you do when you’re on stage. The reason you’re magnetic on stage is that your mind is clear and that you’re totally focused on them.
When you bring that energy to the people that you talk too, no matter how they reached you, the sales will follow.
This is because it comes from your heart. You are truly in alignment!
Here’s what you do now to release the need to watch the results …
1. Reconnect to your Source Energy
Take a few deep breaths and imagine a ray of light, unconditional love, coming down from the ethers. Imagine it coming down through the top of your head down into your heart and into your feet.
Next…
Imagine yourself in your heart and imagine your inside light growing bigger and bigger and until it is much bigger than you. I like to visualize a candle and witness the flame get bigger and bigger until it includes all of me.
I know it’s tempting to skip this step, but don’t. It will help you reconnect to your Source energy. When you do that, you have access to infinite wisdom.
2. Ask for Guidance
This is really quite simple.
You can say a prayer or write down the words. Choose whichever is more comfortable for you.
“Dear Spirit Guides. I need help releasing my focus on the results that I’m not getting. How might I do that?”
If you don’t know why you’re block, you can also ask to be shown what’s blocking you and how to release it.
Then just breathe for a few minutes and allow the answer to come. Don’t force it (that’s key).
If you’re struggling to allowing, repeat the mantra… “All I have to do is breathe. The answer will come if it’s meant too.”
The answer might come to you in the form of an image or you might have a thought, a feeling, or a word.
Whatever you get first is the true inspiration.
Once you receive it, write it down and follow its guidance.
3. When you don’t get an answer.
Sometimes you won’t get an answer, but that doesn’t mean that you should stop there.
If an answer doesn’t come after a few minutes, try this.
Take out a pen & paper and finish the prompts…
- If I knew what my spirit guides were trying to say, it would be …
- If I knew what was blocking me, it would be …
- If I knew how to release this block, it would be …
Feel free to use the change the prompts. Using a prompt is a useful way to get out of your head.
Extra note…
If you’re taking these steps and you’re feeling like the answer isn’t coming, that’s ok.
Stop forcing the answer to come. Just go out and do something fun. Focus on raising your vibe. When you feel good, try the exercise again.
